For Schools

TEn MINUTES PEACE - Training Programme

  •  The Ten Minutes Peace facilitator* will work closely with the class teacher/s every morning or afternoon for a week for 10-15 minutes.

  • On the Friday the Ten Minutes Peace facilitator leads an assembly to take the whole school through the practice.

  • A set of prompt cards are provided for to support the ongoing practice.

  • A recap session will be offered at the start and middle of each half of a term, and is highly recommended.

  • Teachers that have taken part in the training will be given an access code to the TMP package to support their ongoing practice.

  • A recap session is included and is recommended 6-8 weeks after initial training

*All Ten Minutes Peace facilitators are fully vetted with DBS certificates.

How It Works

We will arrange with the main school point of contact to discuss the programme and how it can be implemented. The sessions are offered either before of after school.

Our aim is to make this an accessible tool for all schools. The Ten Minutes Peace programme is designed to enable children and teachers to embed this wholesome practice in their school life, and beyond. It is time and cost effective; and offers a chance to pause and re-group at any point in the day with a few simple techniques.

What teachers say:

“This program is really well designed for teachers to access and use at any time of the school day that they would find useful. The children found the activities engaging and they are well designed to calm and re-focus a class as well as supporting the practice of mindfulness.

Molly was really flexible and motivating when training our staff and it was a really valuable process – thanks!”
